If you're wondering how to get rid of a beer belly, it may be counter-intuitive, but you can simply stop drinking beer.
What's happened is your tummy has gained so much weight and size that the muscles, your abdominals, have stretched so far that they no longer hold that tummy in.
Your belly is distended; thus, being called a beer belly.
Now, not all beer bellies are from drinking an excess of beer...but a lot of them are!
Where there's smoke, there's fire. When someone says beer belly, there's beer.
So, you can completely cut out beer from your diet. For some, that may be a difficult feat. Think of it like this, tell yourself that you are only going to do this for one week... and then look at the results and see what happens.
However, there's still hope. Even if you don't want to cut beer out entirely, there are a few other options.
If it's the taste of beer you crave and that cold, frothy burn you get in your throat when you drink it, you have the option of drinking non-alcoholic beer - like O'Douls. Perfect cold, tastes like beer, feels like beer.
If this isn't satisfying to you simply because you like your little "beer buzz", then you can still take part in drinking beer by drinking the "lite" varieties.
These beers are called "lite" because they're less calories.

I hope this helps you as a first step toward getting rid of that beer belly.

How To Get Rid Of A Beer Belly
If you want to know how to get rid of a beer belly, then you are no doubt on the most important blog that you have been on all day.
Getting rid of a beer belly is easy.
You would think that just because it' called a beer belly that that is what causes you too have a beer belly. That's not necessarily the case. You get the "beer belly" because you drink (and eat) more calories than you burn on a consistent daily basis.
That's it!
It's not because you drink beer per say.
It's that beer has a heck of a lot of calories per can or bottle so, if you drink a lot of beer, wine, liquor, or what ever your drink of choice is you will have a lot of left over calories that don't get burned so you end up storing it... usually as a beer belly.
You can actually get rid of a beer belly and never stop drinking beer. It's easier if you cut back a little or only drink alcohol of any type like one or two times per week tops, but if you are willing to do a little extra work, you can drink all the beer you want and still never have a beer belly.
...and no this post isn't just about how to lose weight fast.
How To Get Rid Of A Beer Belly
Before I get started I was going to say that it really sucks if you get to big of a beer belly that is totally fat because then it start to have cellulite. That doesn't look good for the home team. Then you will have to worry about how to get rid of cellulite fast too.
It is like trying any other weight loss program. Well kindof, there is a small exception, you have to 1.) find an activity that you can do that will burn a little more calories and 2.) cut back on other calories so that you keep under your total max daily calories so that you can consume, drum roll please... Beer.
Funny side note: I am actually drinking a 24oz. Busch Light in a can as I write this post, and I had whole bottle and a half of Boones before that. I don't have a beer belly any more and I maintain a body fat percentage of under 6% at all times no matter what I do.
Let's say that you figure out that your Resting metabolic rate is enough to burn 1,800 calorie a day. That means that if you don't do a dang thing all day you wil burn 1,800 calories just to live.
That means that you can do absolutely nothing (couch potato) and still burn 1,800. So, you can eat 1,799.99 calories and essentially you would lose weight.
Now that wouldn't last for long because if you did nothing you would lose muscle and then your metabolic rate would go down and you would have to take in less calories.
But none the less, if you manage your calories right you can do little, still get six pack abs, and drink beer.
I know, how scandalous. lol
So, what's the key. You have to do a couple of exercises a week that build muscle (squats, bench press or push ups), then do a few activities that burn calories everyday (like walk, bike, run, jog, lengthy sex) and cut back on your total calories for the day so that you can make room for your beer calories.
Most of the foods you eat should be lower in fat and high in protein. Then just add a few veggies and fruits for fillers.
Alright I have rambled on enough about getting rid of a beer belly, fat belly, or whatever you want to call it. Come back for the next post and we will cover some more good stuff about how to get rid of a beer belly.
